Brave is Vancouver, BC-based platform cooperative creating digital tools to keep people safe from accidental opioid overdose. Do It Better Design helped Brave develop communications collateral to engage impact investors, partners, and prospective clients.
Our engagement began with market research to understand the company’s positioning in the opioid response marketplace. Research spanned market sizing, market competition, impact assessment, and consumer profiles.
Do It Better established design guidelines to help communicate Brave’s mission. Working from a existing logo, we developed a color palette, style guide, and simple iconography to create continuity for product representation across branded collateral.
Do It Better helped Brave create targeted communications collateral so that the company could educate stakeholders, pitch impact investors, and formalize its sales process. Deliverables included a company onesheet, company overview deck, investor pitch deck, sales deck, and a 40-page business plan. The goal with these collateral was to make the scary topic of opioid overdose accessible and engaging to Brave’s audiences through design.
