Do It Better is dedicated to helping projects with a purpose look and sound their best. There’s no second chance at a first impression and we’ll make sure audiences are inspired by your business’ new report, website, or marketing campaign. We’re a women-owned social venture that prioritizes work with female, queer, gender nonbinary, and entrepreneurs of color. Projects rooted in justice and equity are where we really shine. ABOUT NICOLETTE

Nicolette founded Do It Better in 2018 after working in the social impact sector for nearly a decade. She is passionate about using business, design, and the media as tools for social change. Her experience spans dozens of impact projects, with topics ranging from food justice and materials reuse to education and the opioid crisis. Nicolette’s human-centered, research-based practice aims to create informed communications that inspire action.

Nicolette received her B.A. Social Enterprise and M.A. Social Innovation & Sustainability from Goddard College. She also holds certificates in Media Psychology, Public Interest Design, and Nonprofit Management.

JANA KINSMAN   Jana is a  beekeeper ,  illustrator , and designer living on the South Side of Chicago. In a past life, Jana worked as a graphic designer at Crate and Barrel and co-founded Quite Strong, a female design collaborative advocating for equality and empowerment in design.
